Seafront Residence in Evia
Set on the coastline of Drohalos, near Nea Styra, Evia, this two-storey residence is designed as a contemporary retreat that embraces its relationship with the sea and landscape.
The building is positioned away from the shoreline, preserving uninterrupted views and allowing the natural terrain to remain the dominant feature of the site. Developed as a linear volume parallel to the coast, the house maximizes daylight, natural ventilation, and panoramic sea views.
The composition combines a double-height living space with an internal gallery and a two-level private wing, creating a balance between openness and intimacy. Outdoor living extends through a pergola-covered terrace and a swimming pool that frame the main views toward the sea.
Landscape design minimizes hard surfaces and preserves the site's natural character, with extensive planting enhancing the Mediterranean environment and reinforcing the connection between architecture and nature.
The project seeks a simple and timeless architectural expression, shaped by light, landscape, and the experience of coastal living.
